Paul G. “Jerry” Bordner CEO and Board Chairman

Jerry fed his entrepreneurial spirit by starting his company, Bordner & Associates, as a plastics molding manufacturers sales agency in 1982. Jerry’s technical creativity has fostered many innovations and led to the inception of Laser Reproductions in 1994 to produce three-dimensional prototypes from computer designs.

Jerry’s professional career began as a drafter at American Standard Industrial Division and later led to a position in the engineering department of Crane Plastics. During his almost 20-year tenure with Crane, Jerry served as vice president of sales and vice president of product development.

Jerry is the recipient of the 2006 U.S. Small Business Administration District Small Business Person of the Year for the state of Ohio and the Columbus region. He serves on the small business council of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce.

Paul G. Bordner II President

A principal owner, Paul stepped up to serve as president in 2006, while Jerry transitioned into the role of CEO and chairman of the board.

Paul has extensive experience in prototyping and product development—working with a variety of specialized industries. Prior to his current position as president, he served as vice president of rapid prototyping, where he contributed significantly to the company's strategic growth and operational efficiency.

Paul has completed advanced training in stereolithography 3-D systems, as well as advanced training in AutoCAD blueprint software. He is a member of the Association of Professional Model Makers (APMM), Vistage and 3D Systems Users Group (3DSUG).

Bret D. Bordner Vice President

Bret served an integral role in the founding of Laser Reproductions by encouraging his father, Jerry, to break into the rapid prototyping industry.

Serving as vice president, Bret oversees contract manufacturing with outside vendors for injection molding, extrusion and metal stamping.

Also a principal owner, Bret has been involved with the company since 1987. He has extensive experience in the industry and in overall business operations by working in sales, product design, project management and engineering.
